After a breeding
pause of almost
6 year we found ourselves surrounded by mostly senior dogs and begin to think
about adding a youngster. We decided to breed our beloved Kukka (Ch.
Whiptails I Have a Dream) to the wonderful young male Yuko (Ch. Moon Orchid
Sexy 'N Smart, Jw & W '19, BJCh.) Since Yuko is a great-grandchild of our
Prada (Ch. Delirious Holy Grail) and grandchild of Jason ( Ch. Delirious
Legend of the Realm) this combination connected our Oban (Multi Ch. Sunbeam
Highlander of Starline to some of our Delirious lines.
This combinations gave us a
litter of 4 puppies, 3 males and 1 female. It took weeks of discussing and
splitting hairs before we decided to keep the only girl in the litter: Freya.
And what fun we have with this
intelligent girl. She is a whippet who enjoys everything lives offers:
Frisbee, coursing, oval track racing and showing.
Due to Covid, she could
not be shown until she was 14 months old, and she started it with a bang
winning Best of Breed out of the Junior class. She now has won
several CAC's, 2 full CAC's & res.CAC's. She
also gained her coursing and oval track racing licence and paricipated in
several official coursingevents with very nice results.
